Nimbus Lives Here

It looks like Scotland's famed lochs won't be drying up anytime soon.

I was checking the 10 day weather forecast for when we'll be there, and I had to laugh.

Tonight: rain; Thu: rain; Fri: partly cloudy; Sat: showers; Sun: showers; Mon: showers; Tue: scattered showers; Wed: showers; Thu: showers; Fri: showers.

When I was in Glasgow and Edinburgh we had two days of sun the whole time we were there, about this time fall of 99. It wasn't really a hard rain, just like a constant mist. A leather jacket took care of it. Drink coffee and other warm liquids. buy a kilt. I still need to order the Kilt for the Kyle clan (my dad's mom's family)... It's so rare they didn't have it in the main Kilt shop in Edinburgh.

i got lucky-spent 10 days in the pacific northwest. had forgotten my raincoat (gore-tex is sweet stuff). miraculously, no rain. just a slight mist in seattle monday morning. clear and sunny by 11am.

a kilt and a leather jacket...hmm. that would look interesting. :P
