On your marks...

I got my travel minis today (itty bitty bottles of shampoo and the like) and my travelers' "cheques" for The Trip. Why does American Express insist on calling them "travelers cheques" (not a peep outta you, .sara). If the company was called European Express, I could see that, but really.

I need to start packing once I get home today. That should be interesting.

Because they're going for that whole "continental" boolshit. I just use Visa. Everywhere you want to be.

The other thing with Visa is that you can get a better exchange rate with credit cards than with cash, per se.
