Grounded and Airborne
On my drive home from work I saw a wild turkey standing on top of a hill next to the road. (Not that kind, this kind.) I was all like “Dude! That’s a turkey!”
He didn’t move with all the traffic going by. I guess he was trying to hitch a ride to Wampler to meet up with some family members for the holidays.
In other news, I’ll be in Scotland in one month. I decided that I’ll try haggis when we’re in Edinburgh and frog legs (whatever the nom du Français is) in Paris. What’s the point of travelling to foreign places if you just belly up to McDonalds? And no, McDonalds does not count as authentic Scottish cuisine.
